External Metal and Glass Staircase
We designed and installed this metal and glass staircase for a repeat client in Brighton, East Sussex. The staircase was manufactured from galvanised metal plate stringers and galvanised stair treads.
The customer wanted something a bit more modern than a basic metal railing system and asked if we could design a solution in stainless steel and glass, side mounted to the staircase stringers.
The material specifications here are:
- Staircase stringers: 10mm galvanised
- 10mm clear and toughened glass
- 42.4mm posts and handrail
- Brushed finish 316 grade stainless steel (posts, handrail, mounting brackets and glass clamps)
We carefully designed our staircase balustrade to match the existing handrail previously installed by us.
